It's the holiday season and that means (safely) gathering with friends and family. I was always taught that you don't show up empty-handed and it is always a joy for me to give a thoughtful gift to someone who has the gift of hosting! A simple bottle of wine or flowers is great but I love shopping small and local for such gifts because I know it will be something unique and special that a host/hostess will be able to cherish for more than just one occasion.
